Extremely Intense Wrestling Enterprises (EIWE)
Extremely Intense Wrestling Enterprises (EIWE)

Overview

Extremely Intense Wrestling Enterprises is owned by Matt Otridge and comprises of three seperate companies: EIW (Extremely Intense Wrestling), WGW (Worlds Greatest Wrestlers) and Dream Extreme. EIW and WGW are both wrestling e-feds, where handlers of wrestlers roleplay in order to create angles and to win matches at the weekly cards that the owners produce. Although the roleplayers in EIW are on average better than those in WGW, there is still a great deal of fun to have in both e-feds. Dream Extreme is an roleplaying training camp, which is set up to help those handlers who have problems in certain aspects of roleplaying, or perhaps have never been a part of an e-fed before. Make sure you try and read all of the information on this page, and take a look around all three of our sites, before you apply!!

The history between EIW, WGW and Matt Otridge

Matt Otridge started e-fedding in the summer of 1999 when after a spell of joining several unsuccesful e-feds joined WGW, then under the reigns of David Hynes. After spending almost a year in WGW, and winning most of the gold with his wrestler, The Ridge, in the process, he decided to start up his own e-fed EIW. Although at first EIW received much criticism from some of his former colleagues in WGW, after half a year EIW started to take shape and was soon competing with WGW. Over the year EIW and WGW had a somewhat rocky relationship, sometimes the rival owners would get on, sometimes they wouldn't, however with the three WGW co-owners, Wade White, Craig Anderson and Cory Boyd having other more important priorities, WGW soon found most of it's roster joining EIW.

Finally after a copyright dispute, coupled with Wade having to take the summer off WGW closed down in July 2001. With the EIW roster getting bigger and bigger, Matt decided that instead of having to reject roleplayers, he would reopen WGW. He also decided to open EIW's very own roleplaying training camp Dream Extreme, that would teach the less able roleplayers how to improve their roleplaying skills. All in all Extremely Intense Wrestling Enterprises is an enjoyable and fairly unique addition to the roleplaying world. We hope you enjoy being a part of this e-fedding experience, as much as we enjoy running it.

What to do from here

If you are interested in joining EIW or WGW, please go to either site and apply on the Sign Up page. Both sites are the set out the same, and both signup forms will be sent to my e-mail address. Unless there is a problem, you should receive a response within a matter of days telling you which e-fed you have been placed in. This will be judged on the size of each roster and your roleplaying ability. If you have any queries on how the system is set up please feel free to contact me at ridge@cableinet.co.uk
